Through an international network of Affiliates, I Support The Girls collects items essential to women’s health and self-confidence, including bras, underwear and menstrual hygiene products, and distributes them to women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress, allowing them to stand tall, with dignity and self-respect.
ISTG envisions a world in which all women and girls feel pride, hope, and self-respect. We seek to provide comfort in a time of discomfort by ensuring clean undergarments and sufficient menstrual hygiene products to those who need them. Our mission ensures that a woman or girl does not have to miss work or school due to her period, that an ill-fitting or absent bra doesn’t keep her from applying for a new job, or prevent her from working due to back pain. She should never have to make the choice between food and menstrual hygiene products. ISTG serves all women and girls without discrimination or judgment. Our end recipients include individuals identifying as female, experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, or who are living as refugees, currently incarcerated, or school age.
